Near Chiundaponde, Nkondo is a tented camp with 6 ensuite tents. It is self-catering with a communal kitchen.
The community also offer a homestay where visitors can stay in a traditional village near Chiundaponde.
From Lusaka, the all-weather route is via Lavushi Manda. During the dry season it is possible to come the more direct route or from Kasanka National Park.
As I always note, it is not advisable to drive in the dark, so a stopover at Forest Inn, Mkushi is probably a good idea.
From the north, it is likely that visitors will have stayed at Kapishya Hot Springs (near Shiwa Ngandu) which is 180 km north of the turning to Lavushi Manda, with a further 120 km to Nsobe on dirt roads.
