We are in the middle of our rainy season but the rains are a bit disorganised this year. The north is having floods with rivers bursting banks and the south is having drought.
Those camps which remain open during the rainy season are having some wonderful sightings.
Lions relaxing on the road to keep dry.
Two crocodiles arguing over dinner.
And a large herd of elephant around Itezhi-Tezhi
Over North Luangwa, Ed Sayer, photographer, took a flight and recorded the sights of the Mwaleshi and Luangwa Rivers in flood. No wonder we can’t get in there at this time of year.
